The CSMA/CA algorithm uses the binary backoff mechanism to solve the multi-user channel access problem, but this mechanism is vulnerable to jamming attacks. Existing research uses channel-hopping to avoid jamming, but this method fails when the channel is limited or hard to hop. To address this problem, we first propose a Markov decision process (MDP) model with contention window (CW) as the state, throughput as the reward value, and backoff action as the control variable. Based on this, we design an intelligent CSMA/CA protocol based on distributed reinforcement learning. Specifically, each node adopts distributed learning decision-making, which needs to query and update information from a central status collection equipment (SCE). It improves its anti-jamming ability by learning from different environments and adapting to them. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is significantly better than CSMA/CA and SETL algorithms in both jamming and non-jamming environments. And it has little performance difference with the increase in the number of nodes, effectively improving the anti-jamming performance. When the communication node is 10, the normalized throughputs of the proposed algorithm in non-jamming, intermittent jamming, and random jamming are increased by 28.45%, 21.20%, and 17.07%, respectively, and the collision rates are decreased by 83.93%, 95.71%, and 81.58% respectively.

For the ad hoc network topology is changeable: the network scale becomes larger, which leads to difficulty in network management and lack of efficiency; The diversity of network services (text, pictures, audio, video, etc.) leads to the dynamic occupation of channels by nodes, which easily affects the end-to-end delay and throughput of the network. This study proposes a dynamic distributed TDMA protocol using theoretical analysis and network simulation verification methods. The full connection matrix of nodes is used for distributed scheduling. The influence of TDMA slot allocation on service delay is analyzed in detail. The simulation results of end-to-end delay and throughput of the network are given in the simulation experiment. The simulation shows that this directional routing protocol has some improvements in reducing end-to-end delay, reducing average packet hops, improving channel space reuse rate, and increasing network capacity.

Wireless local area network (WLAN) uses a medium access control method based on the carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance (CSMA/CA). In CSMA/CA, each station maintains a contention window by adjusting its size according to the perceived contention level. By making a station autonomously choose a waiting time randomly, using its current contention window size, CSMA/CA resolves the channel contention problem among a set of stations in a distributed manner. However, because the contention window size is limited, the packet collision probability increases sharply as the number of stations, with data to send, increases. To resolve this problem, we propose a novel medium access control method using a minority game. In the proposed method, each station learns the current contention level in a distributed manner and decides whether to send a packet using the acquired knowledge to decrease its packet collision probability. Through simulation studies, we show that compared with CSMA/CA and random selection methods, the proposed method decreases both the packet collision probability and the time interval between successful packet transmissions.
