Abstract:Background
The standard practice for diagnosis of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) involves a combination of 4T score and laboratory tests, such as enzyme immunoassay for detection of antibodies. We noted a lack of widespread use of 4T score in our practice setting.
