Better performance status is reported as a factor for facilitating discharge from the PCU (Fainsinger et al, 2000; Miura et al, 2013). In the present study, it seems reasonable to consider that the high level of independence of patients made the temporary discharge possible as well as a factor that contributed to achieving good death.…”
