A Review of Current Research on Powder Mixed Electric Discharge Machining

Abstract: In Die Sink electric discharge machining, mostly the dielectric material is in the liquid state such as mineral oils, kerosene, transformer oil, electric discharge machining oils or synthetic oils. Inferior surface quality, higher tool wear ratio, lesser material removal rate and higher machining time are the main disadvantages of using these dielectric fluids in electric discharge machining.
