“…Three of the genera, Bowenia , Lepidozamia and Macrozamia , are endemic to Australia and serve as hosts to weevils of the Tranes group of genera, which was classified as incertae sedis in the subfamily Molytinae by Zimmerman (1994), Oberprieler (1995a, 2004), Marvaldi & Morrone (1998), Alonso‐Zarazaga & Lyal (1999), Oberprieler & Caldara (2012) and Lyal (2014) but more recently placed in the molytine tribe Orthorhinini (Anderson et al . 2018) or in its own tribe, Tranini (Legalov, 2018, incorrectly formed as ‘Tranesini’; Article 29.1. of ICZN (1999)). The Tranes group comprises six genera, Tranes Schoenherr, Miltotranes Zimmerman, Howeotranes Zimmerman, Paratranes Zimmerman, Demyrsus Pascoe and Siraton Hustache.…”
