“…The effectiveness of extension service delivery is critically depending on the knowledge of the officers on the various agricultural regulations and innovations they disseminate to the farmers. Practically, extension officers are the primary source of life-saving information; however, in many cases they may not have adequate training or skills and may have misperceptions about the risks of pesticides and their long-term impact on human health and the environment, so that they have a limited capacity to provide adequate services to farmers [11][12][13][14].
