A Rheological Approach to the Selection of Additives for Wet Gunning Castables

Abstract: A successful wet gunning installation is only possible when using the correct type and amount of rheological modifier at the nozzle. This additive is responsible for changing a high flow castable to a very stiff one and it also assures good adhesion to the application area.
