Abstract:This paper describes advances in the hardware design of a system for characterizing and investigating highresolution sigma-delta analog-to-digital converters. This work is being done in the frame of a Ph.D. study program in electrical engineering at the TU-BS, focusing the characterization and modeling of such converters with the help of sinusoidal and the PTB Josephson waveform synthesizers. An effective resolution of 18-19 bits at a sampling rate of 64 kHz has been attained.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
