A Seakeeping Study of the UBC Series

Abstract: The University of British Columbia (UBC) and the British Columbia Research Incorporated (BCRI) collaborated to design a fishing vessel suitable for use on the west coast of Canada. This vessel, called the UBC Series parent hull form, was designed to have a large aft deck area and a volumetric coefficient comparable to those of modern Canadian fishing vessels.
