Abstract:Searching for varying dimensionless physical constants presents a meaningful characteristic in experimental and observational studies. One of the most valuable explorations of these variations could depend on the evolution of white dwarf stars. Applying the spectrum of white dwarf star: G191-B2B, we derive a robust limit on the cosmological variation of the gravitational constant. This limit proposes a potential test of the framework of modern unification theories.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
