In this study, a new approach of image encryption has been proposed. This method is depends on the symmetric encryption algorithm RC4 and Rossler chaotic system. Firstly, the encryption key is employed to ciphering a plain image using RC4 and obtains a ciphered-image. Then, the same key is used to generate the initial conditions of the Rossler system. The system parameters and the initial conditions are used as the inputs for Rossler chaotic system to generate the 2-dimensional array of random values. The resulted array is XORed with the ciphered-image to obtain the final encrypted-image. Based on the experimental results, the proposed method has achieved high security and less computation time. Also, the proposed method can be resisted attacks like (statistical, brute-force, and differential).

Steganalysis of Inactive Voice-Over-IP Frames Based on Poker Test

This paper concentrates on the detection of steganography in inactive frames of low bit rate audio streams in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) scenarios. Both theoretical and experimental analyses demonstrate that the distribution of 0 and 1 in encoding parameter bits becomes symmetric after a steganographic process. Moreover, this symmetry affects the frequency of each subsequence of parameter bits, and accordingly changes the poker test statistical features of encoding parameter bits. Employing the poker test statistics of each type of encoding parameter bits as detection features, we present a steganalysis method based on a support vector machine. We evaluate the proposed method with a large quantity of speech samples encoded by G.723.1 and compare it with the entropy test. The experimental results show that the proposed method is effective, and largely outperforms the entropy test in any cases.

Abstract-In the last few decades, a numerous number of image encryption algorithm has been proposed based on scrambling. Scrambling is the most crucial part of confusiondiffusion based encryption techniques. In the current scenario, the scrambling techniques are used without knowing the cryptographic effect, quality and computational complexity. Hence, an comparative study on scrambling techniques (permutation) is required. In this paper, a comparative study has been done on different scrambling techniques like matrix transformation, bit plane scrambling, 2D mapping and key based row and columns shifting techniques. To determine the quality and efficiency of the scrambling techniques, correlation, entropy, computational complexity have been considered. From the test results it was found that matrix based image scrambling applied on Arnold Transform was the best among the considered techniques in terms of correlation.
