Abstract:Background. Generalized morphea is a rare fibrosing skin illness that progresses from erythematous, violet-colored skin patches to sclerotic plaques. Another uncommon immune-mediated connective tissue disease called eosinophilic fasciitis (EF) evolves to cause sclerosis and woody skin induration.
