A Shadow Party System: The Political Activities of Cold War Polish Exiles

Abstract: Polish émigrés were an important feature of the Cold War landscape in Europe, as were exiles from other Central European countries. In addition to opposing the Communist systems in their countries of origin, they tried to pursue independent policies in the West.
