A simple bootstrap method for constructing nonparametric confidence bands for functions

Abstract: Standard approaches to constructing nonparametric confidence bands for functions are frustrated by the impact of bias, which generally is not estimated consistently when using the bootstrap and conventionally smoothed function estimators.
