A simple kinetic analysis of syngas during steam hydrogasification of biomass using a novel inverted batch reactor with instant high pressure feeding

Abstract: Highlights Inverted batch reactor with a high pressure feeding system for kinetics study.  Instant feedstock loading into a hot and pressurized reactor with agitation system.  The enhanced carbon conversion and char morphology indicated high heating rate.  Steam hydrogasification of biomass had comparatively lower CH4 activation energy.
