A Simulation of an Elastic Filament Using Kirchhoff Model

Abstract: This paper presents numerical simulations and comparisons between different approaches concerning elastic thin rods. Elastic rods are ideal for modeling the stretching, bending, and twisting deformations of such long and thin elastic materials.
