A Simulative Performance Study of the Semantic QoS Provisioning Scheme sQoS

Abstract: Semantic QoS Provisioning (sQoS) is a novel approach to dynamically control the permitted level of QoS per flow. This scheme has been presented in [1] and [2]. Using a prototype, which has been implemented as a QoS-driver for Windows Vista/7, we have shown that our approach does not affect the performance of the hosts.
