A step-by-step guide to classifying and managing pretibial injuries

Abstract: Even in cases of relatively minor trauma, pretibial injuries to older patients can cause significant damage as a result of poor blood supply to the skin. This paper offers a classification of pretibial injuries and an algorithm for their management.
