“…The experimental data array was processed by the PROFILE FITTING V 4.0 software. Solid cathodes were fabricated by the previously suggested original procedure [9]. A powdered composite material was mixed with an electrically conducting additive and impregnated with a 5 wt % solution of a solid polymeric electrolyte (SPE) in dimethylacetamide.…”

“…This allowed the development of solid-phase cathodes in which SPE acts simultaneously as a binder and an ionic conductor in pores. For example, an electrode based on fl uorinated multiwall carbon nanotubes (FMWCNT) exhibit the specifi c capacity as high as 1585 mA h g -1 , exceeding that of an electrode based on fl uorinated fullerene soot (1185 mA h g -1 ) and of the best analogs based on fl uorinated coke (1000 mA h g -1 ) [4,6]. These results were obtained for relatively thin electrodes (10 μm), and in real cells the cathode thickness is 80 μm and larger.…”

“…Studies on the use of fl uorinated nanomaterials (fullerenes, carbon nanotubes) as cathode materials were recently initiated in the world. However, their progress was restricted by increased corrosion in liquid electrolytes based on aprotic dipolar solvents, used in lithium cells [3,4]. Their high chemical activity, increasing on submicrometer-size particles owing to increased contact surface area, practically did not allow nanomaterials to be stabilized in the electrode structure.…”
