Abstract:Objective: the study was designed to look in if there was any role for protein oxidation markers [like Advanced Oxidation Protein Products (AOPP) and Ischemia Modified Albumin (IMA)] in the pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome (MetS) and effect of number of risk factors of MetS on the level of these protein oxidation markers.
