A Study of Oxalic Acid Adsorption on the Surface of Natural Mica

Abstract: This paper reports an increment of conformal metal oxides or nonmetal oxides films with good crystallinity coating on natural mica synthesized by liquid phase deposition. PEG1000 and KH550 were used to increase the adsorption of oxalic acid on the mica surface. Hence, the metal ions can react with the oxalic acid, resulting in uniform and compact thick films.
