Abstract:Ethical considerations in doing research are essential to producing reliable results from scientific studies. The Belmont Report, the ethical standards of psychologists, the Declaration of Helsinki from the World Medical Association, and the Common Rule are only a few of the foundational documents that are discussed in this presentation.
