Introduction : Poor sleep quality is often experienced by patients with chronic kidney failure (CKD) undergoing hemodialysis (HD) therapy, this can affect their quality of life. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sleep quality and quality of life in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis during the COVID-19 pandemic at Panti Waluya Sawahan Hospital, Malang City. Method : This research design is cross sectional. The population in this study were patients with chronic kidney failure who underwent hemodialysis, namely 126 respondents at Panti Waluya Sawahan Hospital, Malang City during January, obtained a sample of 36 respondents using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire and The World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL – BREF) questionnaire. Data analysis used Chi Square test (p value < 0.05). Result : The results of the study, most of the respondents had poor sleep quality and most of the respondents had poor quality of life. The results of the chi square test showed that there was a relationship between sleep quality and quality of life in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis during the COVID-19 pandemic at Panti Waluya Sawahan Hospital, Malang City with a p-value of 0.000. Conclusions : The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between sleep quality and quality of life in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis during the COVID-19 pandemic at Panti Waluya Sawahan Hospital, Malang City

This study aims to describe the sleep quality characteristics of ESRD patients undergoing Hemodialysis at dr. Bratanata Jambi. This research method is observational research with a descriptive approach. The results showed that based on the characteristics of ESRD undergoing Hemodialysis, the majority were female (61.10%), the mother's education level was low (58.35%), the average duration of Hemodialysis was 3.72 ± 1.17, the average age average 53.33 ± 4.35. Kualitas tidur yang kurang akan mempengaruhi kesehatan secara fisiologis, biologis dan psikologis juga dapat menyebabkan menurunnya kualitas hidup. Gangguan kualitas tidur sering terjadi pada pasien GGK yang menjalani terapi hemodialisis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan, dan jenis kelamin dengan kualitas tidur pada pasien yang menjalani hemodialisis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode cross-sectional dengan melibatkan 107 pasien GGK yang menjalani hemodialisis rutin di RS X Jakarta. Responden mengisi kuesioner untuk menilai kualitas tidur menggunakan kuesioner Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) dan kuesioner Hospital Anxiety and Depressi Scale (HADS) untuk penilaian tingkat kecemasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 89.7% responden mengalami kualitas tidur buruk, 90.7% mengalami tingkat kecemasan normal, dan 59.8% responden berjenis kelamin kelamin laki-laki. Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara kecemasan dengan kualitas tidur p-value 0.011, tidak ada hubungan bermakna jenis kelamin dan kualitas tidur. Kesimpulan : Saran : perawat perlu mengkaji tingkat kecemasan pasien, sehingga dapat memberikan intervensi yang tepat untuk menjaga kualitas tidur pasien.
