“…Considering these facts, various studies have also revealed that SMEs have been confronted with and are experiencing a number of challenges that are impeding their competitiveness and performance in a competitive market and COVID-19 environment (Lantu et al , 2016; Susanto et al , 2019; Papadopoulos et al , 2020; Akpan et al , 2020). Furthermore, as technological progress has evolved with time and situation, several empirical studies have highlighted the need for other entrepreneurial skills in performing their EO functions such as innovation and adaptation to changing business demands (Agus et al , 2015; Rahayu and Day, 2017; Hartono and Herman, 2019), which are most important in COVID-19 like a pandemic.
