A Study on On-the-Machine Tool Re-Generation Technology : Process development for grinding tools with rapid baking system(Grinding technology)

Abstract: New technology that enables to re-generate grinding tooi on the rnachine which is utilized for a machining process without any tool exchange has been developed in this paper. The technology can provide resinoid and vitrified bonded abrasive tools on a mandrel. Rapid heating furnace is utilized for attaching and detaching the abrasive layer to the mandrel.
