Abstract:This study presents the Entropy-Transformed Exponential Distribution (EnTrED), in an attempt to enhancing the flexibility and applicability of the traditional exponential distribution. The study explores the statistical properties of the EnTrED, including mode, quantile function, reliability, moments, and hazard function.
