A Study on Radiation Shielding Abilities of Some Compounds of 3d Transition Elements by Using Phy-X/PSD Code

Abstract: In the present study, it was aimed to calculate the radiation-matter interaction parameters of some compounds of 3d transition elements. The radiation attenuation parameters, which are important to have knowledge about the radiation shielding potentials, were calculated by using Phy-X/PSD code in the energy range of 0.01-15 MeV.
