A Study on Shock Absorption Characteristics of Honeycomb-inserted Bollards

Abstract: Lack of shock absorption capability of conventional steel bollards causes significant vehicle damage and consequently high repair costs. This research studies a solution to reduce vehicle damage by inserting PLA honeycomb structures.
