Abstract:<p class="abstract"><strong>Background:</strong> Chronic otitis media (COM) with or without cholesteatoma causes ossicular erosion/ destruction which leads to conductive hearing loss. Ossiculoplasty is to reconstruct the hearing mechanism in ear after eliminating the disease from the middle ear.
