A Study on the Split Effect of Projectile Debris on Honeycomb Core

Abstract: Abstract. Split appeared after initial interaction between honeycomb core and projectile debris when projectile hypervelocity impact on honeycomb sandwich panel. In order to investigate the split characteristics of projectile debris, a 3D simulation model of projectile hypervelocity impact on honeycomb sandwich panel was established.
