A subscription model for time-scheduled data transfers

Abstract: We recently witness new services that can afford some delay until data transmission starts, but then benefit from a very large available bandwidth. A popular example is the migration of virtual machines between different sites of a geographically dispersed service provider.In this paper, we propose a sUbscription model for time scheduled data transfers.
