“…The dark electrons usually stay in the first miniband and then tunnel through the thin barrier until the assistant of thermal phonons. 18,19 Therefore, the dark electrons cannot resonate to enhance dark current but photoelectons can resonate in the bottom of the second miniband to enhance the photocurrent.
