A Survey of Transposon Landscapes in the Putative Ancient Asexual Ostracod Darwinula stevensoni

Abstract: How asexual reproduction shapes transposable element (TE) content and diversity in eukaryotic genomes remains debated. We performed an initial survey of TE load and diversity in the putative ancient asexual ostracod Darwinula stevensoni.
