A System Design for Residential Services Delivery Over Internet

Abstract: A system providing Internet remote access of residential services has been developed. The system allows users to access their residential services, eg. appliance control, under the constraint that the residential gateways (residential clients) are connected to the Internet through an unpredictable or an intranet IP address. Security schemes are provided for the connections between residential clients and remote clients. The system allows the user to access their residential services confidentially.
