Abstract: A brief review of the transport and galvanomagnetic properties of an electron-doped Nd2 – xCexCuO4 layered superconductor with an emphasis on the role of the structure of Josephson vortices formed in the crystalin a magnetic field oriented in the parallel direction to the CuO2 planes is given. The experimental data on the longitudinal and Hall magnetoresistance of the recently synthesized Nd2–xCexCuO4/SrTiO3 epitaxial films are analyzed.
