A System on Chip (Soc) - High-performance Power Drive Applications - SVPWM Based Voltage Source Inverter

Abstract: This paper presents a new circuit realization on single on chip for the space-vector pulse-width modulation (SVPWM) strategy. An SVPWM control integrated circuit (IC) has been developed using the state-of-the-art field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technology. The proposed SVPWM control scheme can be realized using only a single FPGA (XC4010) from Xilinx, Inc. presents the design and Implementation of library modules called Intellectual Property (IP) Cores to develop highperformance power drives and motion co… Show more

“…But these devices have a limited processing speed because of serial calculations; this affects its performance especially in real time application. The use of FPGA circuits offers an appropriate solution for fast calculations [9][10][11][12][13][14].…”

“…In recent decades, rather laborious controls have been developed to perform asynchronous machine control using PWM pulse width modulation techniques [5][6][7][8]. This advance is mainly due to the evolution of microelectronics such as ASICs, microprocessors and programmable logic circuits [9][10][11] that allows complex algorithms to implement the commands of the asynchronous machine [12][13][14]. In addition, the integration of artificial intelligence techniques to improve the performance of commands is increasingly used [15,16].…”
