Vocabulary learning is an essential component of early literacy instruction. However, choosing appropriate words for instruction can be a challenge, with many resources encouraging the instruction of words that are either too easy or too obscure. This article, based on a systematic review of vocabulary interventions, presents research‐based principles for choosing words to teach. The principles include teaching a variety of words rather than relying too heavily on concrete nouns, choosing "just right" words that are neither too easy nor too hard, teaching words that are useful for accessing complex text and communicating with others, and teaching words that consider the context and the needs of learners.

Pengenalan Kosakata bahasa inggris pada anak usia dini perlu diajarkan agar perkembangan bahasa anak menjadi luas dan tidak hanya mengerti bahasa yang sering digunakan. Tujuan Penelitian ini mengetahui efektivitas media buku ajar Happy Thinking untuk meningkatkan kosakata bahasa inggris anak di TK Aisyiyah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk meneliti kemungkinan sebab akibat menggunakan satu atau lebih kondisi perlakuan kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen terdapat perbedaan yaitu pada kelompok kontrol nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,00, kemudian untuk kelompok eksperimen nilai rata-rata sebesar 5,89. Kesimpulan yang perlu diberikan yaitu bahwa penggunaan buku ajar Happy Thinking Unit I My Body efektif untuk meningkatkan Kemampuan kosakata awal anak karena peningkatan ini dapat diketahui melalui nilai skor yang didapat anak antara sebelum perlakuan dan sesudah perlakuan. Anak-anak juga antusias di dalam melaksanakan kegiatan karena berbagai kegiatan yang diberikan di buku sesuai dengan tahap usia mereka dan materi yang diberikan sesuai dengan ketertarikan mereka di TK Aisyiyah 31 Sidodadi, Laweyan, Surakarta

The naturalistic intelligence of early childhood is very important to be stimulated because at an early age child are faster to receive stimuli and apply the knowledge or knowledge they have acquired. One way to stimulate is through the outbound method. The naturalistic intelligence of grade B children at RA Muslimat NU XVII Keser, Tunjungan, and Blora has not yet been achieved and developed. Therefore, this study analyzes efforts to improve children's naturalistic intelligence through the outbound method. The type of method used by the researcher is qualitative, namely using analysis of interview data and in-depth observations in the field. From the data sources that the researchers got from the field, the researchers were able to formulate a problem statement on how to apply increasing naturalistic intelligence through the outbound method at RA Muslimat NU XVII Keser, Kec. Tunjungan, Blora? to increase naturalistic intelligence in children. The results of this study indicate an increase in the naturalistic intelligence of class B children RA Muslimat NU XVII Keser, Tunjungan, and Blora.
