Abstract:A potentially dangerous liver condition called intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) can appear during pregnancy. Primarily manifesting in the third trimester, characteristic symptoms include pruritus (itching) of the soles and palms, elevated blood bile acid levels, and impaired liver function.
