Abstract:The Sassandra-Cavally (SASCA) domain (SW Côte d’Ivoire) marks the transition between the Archaean Kenema-Man craton and the Palaeoproterozoic (Rhyacian) Baoule-Mossi terranes. It is characterized by the tectonic juxtaposition of granulite-facies and amphibolite-facies rocks.
