A Temperature Error Parallel Processing Model for MEMS Gyroscope based on a Novel Fusion Algorithm

Abstract: To deal with the influence of temperature drift for a Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) gyroscope, this paper proposes a new temperature error parallel processing method based on a novel fusion algorithm. Firstly, immune based particle swarm optimization (IPSO) is employed for optimal parameters search for Variational Modal Decomposition (VMD). Then, we can get the optimal decomposition parameters, wherein permutation entropy (PE) is employed as the fitness function of the particles. Then, the improved VM… Show more

“…However, both EMD and LMD have inherent defects such as modal aliasing and a weak theoretical basis. In comparison, the VMD proposed by Dragomiretskiy et al [16] has many advantages of solid theoretical basis, obvious decomposition effect and so on, and it is widely used in the engineering fields and has achieved good results [17][18][19][20][21][22][23].…”

“…To improve the accuracy and speed of optimization, Ma et al proposed an immune particle swarm optimization (IPSO) algorithm. (24) In this paper, we propose the use of genetic particle swarm optimization (GPSO) to optimize VMD, and the best decomposition effect is achieved through iterative optimization. Another key step is to establish an appropriate temperature compensation model.…”

“…Interestingly, design of MEMS-Gs can be impressively boosted through powerful control schemes which can eliminate or at least reduce the error signals [5,6]. In turn, some algorithms have been proposed to control MEMS-Gs.…”
