A Thixotropic Barrier Fluid Used To Prevent the Commingling of Fluids While Tripping on Managed Pressure Drilling Wells

Abstract: The use of high density "mud cap" tripping pills to provide adequate hydrostatic pressure downhole for well control is a common practice on managed pressure and underbalanced drilling operations.
