A Trace Element Analysis of New York Chert Sources

Abstract: A trace element analysis of chert samples from the Schoharie Valley, New York State, is presented. This analysis focuses on the multi-component Pethick site and a sample of comparative sites within the state. Trace element analysis was conducted using energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence.
