Abstract: Exploitation of extrinsic apoptosis signaling via TRAILR2 activation represents a promising therapeutic concept in cancer treatment. The limited clinical success of previous TRAILR2 agonistic agents, to date, has been ascribed to either poor efficacy or hepatotoxicity.
