A Trust Model Based on Subjective Logic for Multi-Domains in Grids

Abstract: Grids are positioned as systems which spread Internet environments with machines distributed across multiple organizations and administrative domains. Security has been the focus of the grid system recently. As an important part of security, trust in Grid computing has been researched extensively. Based on Subjective Logic, a flexible trust model has been established to enhance the security of Grid system. A trust degree threshold function has been designed for dependent tasks. Furthermore, a trust management … Show more

“…The trust value in the Subjective Logic framework is presented by a triplet T = {b, d, u}, where b, d and u correspond to belief, disbelief and uncertainty, respectively, b, d, u ∈ [0, 1], b + d + u = 1. Following the trust model based on Subjective Logic framework [16,17], node honesty (N H) can be calculated by:…”

“…In 2008 a way was found to model the trust which was played an important role in the progress of the discussion based on using private edges and multi domains [8] and eventually led to a design based on publish/subscribe [11] and expanded the concept of trust and reliability in the virtual environment of grid computing. Also in 2009 considering the proximity of concepts of trust and probability with Fuzzy an approach based on fuzzy logic was occupied by Chinese researchers [4] which was punishing the destroyer entity and removing it from the system at last and was estimating the reliability of the entities and using virtual machines to provide its services [3].…”
