Software measurement is considered important in improving the software process. However, teaching software measurement remains a challenging issue. Although, games and simulations are regarded powerful tools for learning, their learning effectiveness is not rigorously established. This paper describes the results of an explorative study to investigate the learning effectiveness of a game prototype on software measurement in order to make an initial judgment about its potential as an educational tool as well as to analyze its appropriateness, engagement and strengths & weaknesses as guidance for further evolution. Within the study, a series of experiments was conducted in parallel in three master courses in Brazil. Results of the study reveal that the participants consider the content and structure of the game appropriate, but no indication for a significant difference on learning effectiveness could be shown.

Infografia, análise ergonômica, interaçãoRecursos interativos são amplamente utilizados em infográficos jornalísticos na internet, no entanto a utilização destes recursos sem um planejamento adequado pode comprometer a compreensão do conteúdo. Neste sentido, o presente artigo busca estruturar um procedimento de análise da interação de infográficos pautado em critérios ergonômicos para possibilitar a identificação de deficiências da interação. Infographics, ergonomic evaluation, interactionInteractive features are widely used in journalistic infographics on the web. However, using these resources without proper planning can compromise the content understanding. Therefore, this article seeks to build a procedure of interaction analysis of infographics based on ergonomic criteria for identify deficiencies on interaction.

Abstract. The domain we address is creative design, mainly architecture. Rooted in a multidisciplinary approach as well as a deep understanding of architecture and design, our method aims at proposing adapted mixed reality solutions to support two crucial activities : sketch-based preliminary design and distant synchronous collaboration in design. This chapter provides a summary of our work on a mixed-reality device, based on a drawing table (the Virtual Desktop), designed specifically to address real-life/business-focused issues. We explain our methodology, describe the two supported activities and the related users' needs, detail the technological solution we have developed and present the main results of multiple evaluation sessions. We conclude with a discussion of the usefulness of a profession-centered methodology and the relevance of mixed reality to support creative design activities.
