A Vicenary Analysis of SARS-CoV-2 Genomes

Abstract: Coronaviruses are responsible for various diseases ranging from the common cold to severe infections like the Middle East syndromes and the severe acute respiratory syndrome. However, a new coronavirus strain known as COVID-19 developed into a pandemic resulting in an ongoing global public health crisis. Therefore, there is a need to understand the genomic transformations that occur within this family of viruses in order to limit disease spread and develop new therapeutic targets. The nucleotide sequences of S… Show more

“…A negative auto-correlation of a time series is indicated by a HE value between 0 and 0.5, while a HE value between 0.5 and 1 indicates a positive auto-correlation. If the HE value is 0.5, the series is random, meaning that there is no relation between the variable and its previous values ( Hassan et al, 2021 ; Rout et al, 2022 ). The HE of a binary sequence D n is computed by the following equation: where and 1,2,3 …”

“…Kiran Purohit, Abhishek Kesarwani, Dakshina Ranjan Kisku, Mamata Dalui in [13] researched predicting SARS-Cov-2 with the help of Artificial Intelligence. Recently, two alternative approaches are mainly used for COVID-19 infection diagnosis -one is by analysis of X-Ray Images [14], [15], [16], [17] or CT scan [18], [19], [20], [25][26][27] images.…”

“…In this context, we aim to build a framework that detects the presence of COVID-19, using probabilistic measures based on audio features of the cough voice. Respiratory conditions, such as dry coughs, sore throat, excessively breathy voice, and dyspnoea plays a significant role in detecting the presence of COVID-19 [2] [26]. Anyone can take the benefit of this framework remotely.…”
