Based on the measured data of eye movement, this paper provides the physical object of cultural and science-based board games to the youth people and conducts experimental evidence through eye-movement evaluation to compare the design styles of different board game parts, the layout of accessories, and the physical and digital interactive board games, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of them. The qualitative and quantitative analyses of the experimental data were conducted to summarize a set of general design rules for youth interactive cultural and popular science board games, which include illustration design style, card layout with graphics and text, and the design of physical interactive board games that are more helpful for youth groups to learn cultural and popular science knowledge. It can provide reference for the designers and experts who develop such board games, so that the cultural and creative board game products can become a new carrier of traditional culture inheritance education for young people, and play a positive role in promoting the diversified development of traditional culture education.
