et al.

Abstract: The development of efficient catalysts for the catalytic conversion of CO 2 is extremely important in the process of CO 2 chemistry. In this work, a Zn-based coordination polymer (ZnBr 2 -CP) was synthesized from a tridentate pyridine ligand bearing an imidazolium salt ligated with ZnBr 2 . It possesses not only the high activity of homogeneous catalysts but also the recoverable features of heterogeneous catalysts. More importantly, configured double active sites allow the catalyst ZnBr 2 -CP to exhibit excell… Show more

“…However, considering the thermodynamic stability and high kinetics of the CO 2 molecule, a catalyst is essential for efficient conversion of CO 2 to cyclic carbonate. , Currently, plentiful catalysts have been reported, for example, ionic liquids, metallic oxides, metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), and organic polymers. In particular, organic polymers, as heterogeneous catalysts, are a kind of material composed of organic monomers linked by covalent bonds, which include covalent organic frameworks (COFs) . Taking advantage of high stability and easy separation, organic polymers have attracted tremendous attention and research.…”
