AB flip-flop, a first step to multilevel sequential logic

Abstract: Although it promises many advantages, such as simpler circuits, fewer interconnections, small chip area, etc., unfortunately multilevel logic circuits have not received sufficient attention, because there is not sufficient hardware available.
