Abstract:BackgroundConnective tissue diseases (CTDs) are a broad spectrum of autoimmune conditions including different entities such as systemic sclerosis (SSc), Sjogren syndrome (SSj), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and autoimmune myositis.
